Based on feedback we acquire from your current process and what you would like to achieve, for a specific application, such as removing oxide residue from hot rolled stainless alloys: 
  • We select a web that is form-following to accommodate slight buckles and/or waves at the strip edge. 
  • Next, we select the abrasive grit-type and grain-size to remove the oxide. 
  • Now, we consider the density for a maximum service life.
  • We apply the material uniformly on the core to assure dynamic balance to a rotating body with changing mass—this requires highly-skilled workmanship.

Non-woven brushes are made from synthetic fibers (Nylon) and abrasive particles (Grit) that are combined into a conformable, three dimensional, open web material, with exceptional performance characteristics. 
The synthetic fiber and abrasive particles are bonded with special heat resistant resin (GLUE), firmly fixing the particles to the non woven structure. The flexible and open structure has no tendency to clog, is self dressing, and can be used for wet and dry applications. In addition these products may be impregnated with a variety of permanently elasticated and extremely hard wearing proofing agents.
